What a photo of Johnny P ,class shoot. Thats going to be the new one of your photos that end up plastered all over bebo instead of the amazing shoot of Mulvey touch the car in front. Was up saturday. Pity I missed it today. But was up til 4 in the morning getting the car ready. Took a few shots with the lens up to the wire. Well done again.
Was it film affect you applied to the photos.
Great series Paddy, if you don’t mind me asking, what shutter speed are you using in pic 3.
I think it was under the 200th mark, could of been much lower, probably wouldnt of been higher ….
#4 and #5 do it for me. Spectacular action shots. Well done!
There is something a little funny on them all – colour or jpg compression or something. I can see them shots are well taken, but something seems a little weird on them?
I’ve noticed that aswell, I think #6 is very weak and some are over sharpened so mst really work on that, has anyone got any good sharpening tutorials ?
have a look for a thing called arles from “digital dutch”. It resizes for the web, sticks in a copyright watermark and sharpens them at the same time (as well as writing the html etc). It’s output is nice. imvho.

Have been working on my processing order as of late and how much detail I’m giving to each, think they have improved over the above …
