Any Suggestions on a crop for this one?

Hmmm, not sure to be honest, will need to think. One thing I think would have improved the shot is to have more foreground,
seems a bit tight.Mark
Ah more from the Botanic Gardens. My favourite of these would be the third image, almost like a little study of symmetry and curves. Difficult enough to get a decent shot in that area – not too much space to manoeuvre around there and always someone walking past – so nice work to get the shot you did.

hey paperdoll. I cropped the first one ration 1:1.618 (Golden ratio). I love the symmetry you have in the shot, so i cropped to emphasise this. Hope you like.
Ali, can you type a ratio in to photoshop crop tool or do you work it out manually?

You can specify the ratio as follows and then use the crop tool. It will then conform to that ratio.
Clever crop Ali, and one that certainly does the business! Not just a pretty face…..?! :lol:

thanks ali, I just tried that in Photoshop myself.
Now, better do some actual job-related work..
