Any user feedback for the CANON EOS 50D, good or bad.

Hi all.
I have recently sold my Canon 40d with the intention of buying the 50d. I am a little hesitant at the moment on going ahead as some of the reviews suggest that it does not perform as good as it should with images not being as sharp as as they should despite the 15.1 megapixels. I like the 40d and it should be a painless transition to the 50d but at the end of the day image quality is paramount. I would appreciate feedback from those of you who have got out and used it and printed your images.

I am also looking at upgrading from a Canon 400d to the 50d and would like to hear any feed back to Vertigo comments in addition to where to buy I have been looking at Warehouse Express, Park Cameras. and the best price for camera and grip Camerabox, anybody have experiance of these camera shops.
