lots of good advice there………………..one other thing…..dont eat the food before you photograph it !
Sounds silly I know but it has happened in the past…LOL. A certain photographer told me that last year he was photographing sone “dinner plates” (food on them as they would be served) for one of the service station chains.
He had asked that the food be put on the plate and be cold so that no steam would be rising. When he set up at the location and a plate of nice hot food was left in front of him, he thought they were being generous and duely scoffed the lot and sat around waiting for the “real” photo subject to arrive …………………..
