    18-55

    Hi all

anyone using the sigma 18-55. I don’t really do that much landscape but I would like to have it as a general lens. Its only 150 euro which I think is fine as I wouldn’t be overusing I dont think.

Anyone have any experience with it, or is it being replaced cos I find it hard to find any reviews on this lens!..

    Thanks all

    John

You don’t say which mount you’re interested in. I don’t know about the 18-55 but the 17-70 for Canon or Nikon is an excellent walkaround lens.

Most of Madra Rua’s photos are taken with it – http://www.flickr.com/photos/madrarua/

Hi John, I use to use the Sigma 18-55 F2.8 on my Canon 350D (now use 5D with 24-70 IS L) I have to say its a great lens. I subsequently sold it to a friend who still has it and thinks its a great lens also. I got it in from HK but can’t remember the supplier (Ebay seller). If you have the money I would suggest getting a Canon L lens there worth every cent.
