    Hi Matt,

To me the colours look a little washed out and the image over sharpened, did you brighten the image in any way?

    Thanks Marc for the reply,

Agree with all and dont think it can be rescued. Probably sharpened it
twice. Its an old shot taken a week after I bought the 450D, must have
been blind last night when I done this.

This is the untouched original and if you think it should be binned please
    say it.
    Handheld 1/85 sec. f 6.3. iso100 55mm.

    Thanks again for looking,

    Matt.

Always worth sticking it up for feedback and I certainly am not going to tell anyone to bin a photo, did you shoot the original in RAW or JPG?

    Hi Marc,

A newbie as far as digital is concerned, used and processed film many years ago

In jpg only unfortuately, although I have other shots of this scene taken this
year with a longer lens and probably a better set-up. Have to look for them.

This was really only taken because the light was nice on the side of the hotel,
and probably about a mile or so away from it. Also just starting to use
Elements 7 and not familiar with it yet, will have to watch the online videos.
Back to the drawing board, and thanks again for coming back.

    Regards Matt.
