This is a shot from just after sunset last night, I went out to capture the honey moon rising but cloud got in the way. :( This shot is made up of two images, one focused on the tower and another focused on the flower in the foreground. I think it suits this image well and I certainly will be trying it again.

    Comments welcome.

I wouldn’t agree with you Dave. I don’t think that there is enough of the flower in view to warrant the effort
& I find my eye being drawn to both the tower & the flower.

i like it, it would be great if the flower were a little fighter lit but otherwise i think it works. it is well positioned in the scene

i don’t think there is anything wrong with having more than one thing to be drawn to in an image.

Only viewing on a tiny notebook, but it looks like a great image, the
sky was gorgeous, good idea on the blending it works very well.

It’s a nice image, but I must agree with John about the flower. I think had it been just green foliage in focus, the image would work a lot better for me. Great sky & the tower looks well too.

You’re all a great help, evenly split between the men and women. On a serious note, thanks for all the comments and suggestions.
