Ards Forest Park, Donegal Panoramic
-
danjoParticipant
Taken yesterday during a wee trip to Ards Forest Park, normally the place is buzzing with people but was a bit erie as we had the whole beach, park and walks to ourselves…….. thought i would try a wee panoramic while the wife and kids played in the park…
the image is made up of 22 different shots, blended together in PS. Sorry I am not sure how to upload full size to photobucket but here is a small version
danjoParticipant27 views and not one reply or any c&c
not being a cryer but i thought the whole point was for us amateur guys to post up to get views back :(
beans1981ParticipantHi Danjo,
My 2 cents worth for what it’s worth!! Not a professional by any means but I would loose a bit of the RHS (looks like another beach?). As you say it’s not full size so is a little hard to make out. Might be nice also as a colour version?
Shadow on the LHS is a bit dark but fair play for stitching 22 shots together.Al
AnonymousParticipantIt’s hard to be critial of an image that you struggle to make anything out of due to it’s size!
It’s difficult to see any detail.
You must have known that when you posted it?jodal1975Participanthi danjo , dont take it personally :) i have found that people are making less and less comments on this forum as the the time has passed also :( i have looked at this shot twice now….unfortunately it is very small and personally i would not like to make comment (positive or negative) until i have seen it at a larger size ….it would not be fair.
RitaMemberCould you post a link to the bigger version. I live near Ards and I can’t make much out in this photo
sirvadMemberas already said, image is too small to view. also noticed you posted this last night( sep 5) and didnt leave one comment on ANY phot, so dont be getting your knickers in a twist when people fail to leave a comment.
MurchuParticipantAn impressively long panorama, but aside from the technical achievement in producing it, does your image have a message. The panorama format can be a harsh mistress, and I find what an image has to say can be lost with great ease in the format, with too many points of focus, none standing out sufficiently strongly, tending to overload the brain.
Just my 2 cents. In any case, your image needs to be able to be viewed, before it can be evaluated.
danjoParticipantcan anyone recommend somewhere to upload the image to so that it can be viewed, photobucket will not let me upload bigger than it already is.
thanks
wirepicParticipantflickr. They’d probably let you upload the beach itself if you had the bandwidth.
