Are you afraid of Mick451?

John aka nfl-fan admitted to me yesterday that he is afraid of ever meeting Mick, because he comes through as a very strict and serious person on PI. First I thought it was a silly thing to say, but maybe it’s true: Mick is someone you have to be careful with… no messing around, think twice what you are saying, otherwise you can find yourself in trouble.
What do you think, is Mick someone that would leave a fish on your doorstep, if you looked at him the wrong way?
Mick, serious? I wouldn’t say so.
Strict perhaps. I tend to imagine him as a headmaster that deals out his punishments with a tickling stick.
I met him in person once, and I survived.
maybe because I barely talked with him?Zoltan hangs me out to dry… but then forgets I have his Mamiya 7.

It was quite funny… no, not Zoltan’s new streamlined haircut… the conversation we had.
We we’re talking about the LoFi event and I said something along the lines of “I’m not looking forward to meeting 451 though” simply given our checkered past.
Zoltan replies “Ah, he’s a nice enough guy, not nearly as strict & serious as he comes off on the internet”.
I dunno… just Zoltan… his dry humour… it really made me laugh.
BTW Zoltan… I thought they stopped giving out free hair cuts on the medical card there recently when they cut the Pharmacy fees?
