Ooo I like the light in this.
From the thumbnail I was expecting it to be black n white though. The colour is nice.

I wanna post some good C+C here… but with so many images it’s becomes somewhat mind boggling… so I going to kop out and say very little other than these are some fine, fine shots. Colour, light & detail… fantastic.

    Obviously well handled,
and good to see you posting at last-
but they should really be posted in their own thread-
its maybe not being fair on myles, who posted the original picture here-

Still, it does show the benefit of a large tripod-

I’d agree with the comment that myles’s picture does look monochrome from the thumbnail-
but its always best to embed the picture-
many wont bother to click through,
as has been noted many times before-

Difficult to show much detail in the roof,
without lighting, or multiple exposures and software-

It was a straight shot – just as you see it.

The comment on the darkness was directed more towards Myles’s picture really-

That picture with the hard hat is funny alright-

    These are very clean captures-
    how were they originated?
    they don’t contain any exif-

I suppose the picture that would interest me the most would be the one of the crossing,
    looking down the Nave-

If I had been looking at it myself,
I might have tried some cross front, as well as rising,
to try to get the diagonal tiles to run parallel to the bottom of the frame,
    but that’s a minor thing-

    Its a wonderful building-
    never been up there myself-

    Though I really should-
these are some of the more spectacular spaces in the country, even still-

You should post some more in these forums,
    now that you’ve started-
