You didn’t specifically mention that you wanted a critique, but I’ll dive in anyway.
It looks like the white balance may be off a little bit here. I may be imagining things, but I thought I recalled reading that there is a tendency for deep blue skies at dusk to take on a purple cast due to the inability of the camera to guess at the right white balance. I could be wrong, and if someone else knows better, please jump in! As for the composition, I feel it’s lacking a subject. The light trails are nice, but they need to be complimented by something that holds the viewers interest. As they are, I don’t feel they’re compelling enough to carry the image.
Thanks Doug, this section is called photo critique :) i’ve set the wb manually on tungsten (lightbulb) so i’d get that cold blue look. i agree with you on composition but what can you do? place a person in there somewhere maybe?

The problem is that the light trails have to be really interesting in order to hold the viewers attention. I think it works better if you have a good subject which is complimented by light trails. That subject can be just about anything that will catch the viewers eye and draw them in.
