Hi Karen,

HDR? I can see why you liked this shot, I like the reflection in the mirror behind
the bar, cant make up my mind about the two gents at the side of the shot, I am
thinking if the two of them had been included with just a little space at the right
side it would have looked a little more complete, but I like the idea behind the
shot!

I, too, haven’t made up my mind on HDR though I think it works really well here becuase there are people in the shot and it just brings out the grittiness and life. My eyes went straight to the guys in the mirror and I would love to know what they’re all looking at! Great definition and contrast. I’d be very proud if this was one of mine.

I like this shot and like the HDR, it works , adds to the working men feel and brings out some lovely detail in the woodgrain. Only thing I would say on the negative side is in relation to composition. Would love to see more of the guy omn the right , either completely in or out if you know what I mean.
