Me first go at horse racing….showed how green I was when it came to horse racing when I went looking for a program instead of a race card! I was also told in hushed tones how one Barry Geraghty was there, appearently he’s one of the top jockeys in the country. Unfortunately, all the person got off me was a blank expression….oh well :)

Let me know what ye think

Which one of these below do ye prefer? Or is it a case of “flogging a dead horse” (ba boom)

It is very nice to watch a photos what shows what they should .
    Race is a :
-speed- we have it on 3-rd (put number next time, will be easier)
-race – we have it on 2 nd
    – typical action for a event (jumping) -for me bad angle and moment, if earlier a bit, when horse is on way up and some tilt to give dynamic on photo, it will be better.
-light- we need it always, we have it.
Number 3 is a real good i’m watching and i’m happy:) good piece of work.
First time on horse race or first time camera in hand:):)?(we know your answer)

Nice set of shots for your first attempt. Know that feeling having shot cricket for the first time last week.

Particularly like the one looking down the track.

For me, the colour one looks better, purely because the sky looks blown in the B&W

    Thanks Andy,

Certainly a change from the Gaa and Rugby. Action over a bit quick for my liking, like the cricket I would imagine.
