Spicy-McHaggisMemberrandomwayMemberSpicy-McHaggisMemberrandomwayMemberOK, I don’t know too much about photographing cars, so I will just list out a few things that I like/don’t like about these.
Some of them seem to be noisy, which doesn’t add to the pictures… I guess you were working with natural light and the lights in the showroom, and had to use high ISO.
The compositions are not bad at all, but it’s hard to give advice on that since you posted 11 pictures at once. I’d just say, that some of them are very good, some of them a bit tight, generally, good job.
I think, the close-ups are quite good, probably because the background is either blurred or is not distracting. I especially like the pics of the wheels. The background on the wider angle pictures are distracting. An expensive car in the carpark or showroom doesn’t do anything to me.
The second last and the one before that are my faves.
Keep posting… one at a time, if possible ;-)

Sandton, South Africa is it?
Thats correct!
randomway i appreciate youre views and opinions! Thank You!
aoluainParticipantI would echo what randomway posted.
I like the DB pics but feel a tight pic of the profile would have been nice
rather than either of the two posted. #1 for me has too much space
but a tighter crop to compliment it would be nice.
the second pic is just a pic of the light really and doesnt say to me that it
is a DB.Again the R8 is nice but for me the second R8 pic would be better with a hint of the
Audi badge to the right instead of the wing on the left, again it could be a number of
cars pictured.I would’nt be a fan of the mini pic, there are too many flashy lights I find distracting.
Looks like a bit of camera shake there?the first 2 AMG pics are nice I like closeups like this. again a would have liked to
see a more front on view of the magnificient front section instead of the profile.the last one for me is the weakest along with the mini, I dont like the angle.
These are just my own thoughts and what I would have liked to see.
Nice set

snappitMemberSpeaking as a novice,i dont like the amount of light thats bouncing off the car in the first shot, and for my own education, would i be right in saying a polorizing filter may have helped? Also is that your own shadow on the car?I do like the wheels and nameplate shots, although it seems as though your trying to put a showroom catalogue together.
DeeboParticipantVery good and varied set. The high ISO does take away a little bit . I like the close up shots and the select focused images the best.
I would also rec. that you number the shots as it makes it easier for peeps to comment.
