Congratulations on a superb image – I think you should consider getting it printed and enter it into competitions. Everything about it is great – there is a sort of 3D quality to it.

I did a little crop and frame which I am not even remotely suggesting is an improvement on the orignal – I just wanted to see how it would look with a slightly different take.

Thanks everyone for taking the time to look and comment. The praise means a lot to me, as well as the helpful advice.

Lovely frame and crop Brandyman, I really like it.

Brandyman – how do you do those border thingymajigs you do?
Is it just increase canvas siza and do a fill of black, or do you have a more precise method?

Simple way to create the border – control A to select all; Edit/stroke and depending on the resolution of the image, choose anything from 1-5 pixels white border inside; then make black your background colour and use crop tool to run round the entire border of the image. Then drag the little border sliders out from the image to create the frame. When you press enter you are left with the black border with the white inner line.

I think this is great, well done! I’d be proud to have this in my collection but following school girls down country paths with a camera could be difficult to explain when the SWAT team take you out!
