Baby Brownie

MichaeleenParticipant
Hi all,
I have an old baby brownie and I need some 127 film for it. Dose ANYONE know where it is supplied in Ireland? John Gunns told me to contact Johnny Doyle, but he has discontinued suppling 127film.FlipflipParticipantHey Id be really interested to hear if there is anybody around selling it, I have an old Kodak 127 cam that I wanna try out.
Id say if you try somewhere online you’d get it.
GCPParticipanthave not seen 127 film for a long time now. Try emailing Kodak direct to see if they still make it or an equivlent. I know that the old 620 film can be substituted by 120 rolls so its just possible that something else may do.

MichaeleenParticipantWell after a few hours or searching, I have found some 127 slide and neg film. You can bid for various types of 127 film on ebay(thanks JB7), some of the film is very old and out of date, which might have some different results. Pricing seems to be between 5 and 10 euro + P&P. There is NEW film out there too, it is supplied by ‘B and H’, NY, but they only have b/w neg in supply at the moment. The film was in production and being made in Croatia until last year. I have also read where someone used 35mm film and an old 127 spool to feed it in the cam. The film might slide around a bit but it is an alternative. (Cheers Kevin) I just ordered some from Vintage film services, a part time business in the uk. Well I hope I can post some images when I get to that stage, thanks all and I hope this helps anyone else looking. Michaeleen
