Another shot back at my favourite spot to shoot.

Beautiful toning, works really really well here. Lovely composition too, a lot
to like about this one. I would prefer it without the intruding branches in the
bottom left corner, but hey, you can have everything I suppose. Lovely…

Fine shot, great athmosphere here, love the composition, it’s kinda high key and as such I’d be with Rob on losing the branches.

Yes very nice shot. Might even stand up to a crop from the bottom and therefore only a few branches to clone out.

Great photo with perfect toning and soft mood!
I am with Rob here…. without the branches it would have greater mood… IMO

Nice work. For some reason my initial thought was war-time France…don’t ask why. I won’t go into the branches – all has been said but all in all a very calming image.

I quite like the branches myself :(

Lovely image. The fog is captured very well and it has a nice peaceful feel to it. I would be with the others in getting rid of the branches. I would also have a look at cloning the pylons in the background as well just to see if it improves the old world feel of the image. The toning works very well also.

I really think the toning works here, generally I’m not a fan but it adds gravitas to the scene here..

pretty sure it would only be enhanced without the branches :)

Just a quick 5 minute job to take out the branches and pylons.

I much prefer the new version. The high contrast branches were crying out for attention and their removal allows the eye to explore the main subject far more without being pulled away. It’s a fantastic image.
