No problem Martin.
It’s usualy part of the HDR process.
HDR being High Dynamic Range, a composite of different exposures.
HDR tries to display as much tonal range as possibleThe idea is that we need to reduce the amount of tones and contrast that a normal HDR image gives us in order to display it on a screen or print, which are limited in the number of tones they can display.
What tones to pick is decided in the tone mapping or tone compresion process. If none of this makes sense, blame it on my bad English and have a look here.
ExpresbroParticipantAll I can say Hauke is…Wow!!
Not a very technical critique…but what could I say to improve a wonderful shot like this… :D
kram9142ParticipantRobMemberYour South American collection is an absolute joy
to behold Hauke. Wish I’d taken every one of them…Rob.
neilmcshaneParticipantMr.HParticipantVery Nice Hauke… Although agree with Neil, a well processed b/w would look awesome…. however if it is your mouse wrist that you broke, we can wait!
Gary
Mick451ParticipantReally very nice, Hauke.
You have this HDR thing properly nailed, in a way that’s not the least bit thrashy like so many HDR images.
Kudos.richiehatchMemberCompletely agree with all the above, especially Mick… ye see so many mucky looking HDR images on the web its refreshing to see HDR used tastefully..!

AliParticipant:shock: Incredible … the sense of depth is out of this world. Really like it Hauke.. and get well soon! :)
