nice one but there is a blue thing on the centre roocks that distracts the eye somewhat… maybe a quick clone out?

Nice capture of the movement of the water. Also like the warm colours of the light that is hitting the rocks on the left hand side.

Another fine shot. What was the set up,exposure and so forth on this one Paul? Just changed camera a few weeks ago to
a 40d. On the look out at the moment for a lens that will help achieve this quality image.Any suggestions?Cheers in advance….

    Thanks for the replies folks,
    Much appreciated,
Ron ,At the moment I’m trying a few different things with ND filters,
The exact setup for this one was as follows,
    7D on tripod,Sigma 10-20 lens fitted with a ND8 and a .9Lee soft Grad,
The camera settings on this one were 2 secs f22 ,iso 100.
It was the shutter speed which determined everything else.
I was looking for a bit of movement in the water, but the sun was still well up,
The ND 8 reduces the light by about 2-3 stops, and the Lee held back the sky,
I was reasonably pleased with this effort, But as the light fades,I was opening my aperature and found that the edges of the shots were a bit soft,
I’ll have another go at this again,I don’t know if it’s the lens itself,or is it DOF thing.
