Beautiful pano Alan. Orion really stands out from the rest of the milky way. Well done

Exactly the results i have been trying to get with my Astro / Astro-Landscape photography.

What fisheye did you use with this?

No Fisheye used. This was 24 shots all taken with my 16-35mm f2.8II taken at 2.8, iso3200 and 25sec

Excellent shot and processing, I’ve given up on Astro for while, maybe this might get me going again.

Thanks Dave appreciate that. Landscape photography isn’t really my thing, but I forgot how relaxing it is.

superb image. Really very cool. Can you give some details on exposure times and processing. I tried to do this type of shot with just one image down in Ballyferriter on the Dingle Peninsula last March. It was pitch black and the skies were amazing but my results were no where near as good as this.

Great result, super colours and of course amazing sky! Would
love to hear how you did it, was it not a nightmare to stitch?

Thanks guys. The stitching was pretty painless really. I did it using Lightroom alone and it only took about 5 mins.
Running on a very fast laptop. Just exported the pano into photoshop to edit and tweak.
The setting were ISO3200, f2.8 and 25secs. You just need to make sure you overlap enough of each image and take enough of the sky. Used a flash lamp to light the bridge. The milky way is better shot from April to sept.
