Alan RossiterParticipant May 4, 2008 at 7:42 am That’s almost surreal. It reminds me of the film “Forbidden Planet”. The clouds are a little on the far side of realistic but overall I like the simplistic image. RobMember May 4, 2008 at 11:04 am Thanks Alan… I agree with you regarding the sky; I may have overdone it just a tad in trying to bring out the details… Rob. lousyParticipant May 4, 2008 at 11:09 am 5 minute warning (or is it 3)? Looks like the launch of a ‘nuke’.. Seriously though I like it, but can’t help thinking it might look better without the beacon…just a thought. Pat jb7Participant May 4, 2008 at 3:44 pm That’s a mad looking yoke alright Rob- I wonder would a lop off the top sort those clouds out a bit? j cathaldParticipant May 4, 2008 at 5:52 pm Good detail in the sky and cliffs but the beacon just spoils it i think somebody distroyed a nice headland plonking this thing here Cathal RobMember May 4, 2008 at 6:38 pm I may revisit the PSD file and soften those clouds a little. The lop off the top that Joseph suggests is also tempting… Thanks for the feedback folks. Maybe play with toning to add more surrealism? RobMember May 7, 2008 at 10:59 am Lot’s wife, tee hee, very good. Thanks for that Kevin, and thanks Wayne for the comment too… Rob.
