Bamboo Island – Ko Phi Phi – Christmas Day

Ok so maybe not technically a landscape but well I couldn’t think where else to put it.
Seascape, landscape, much the same. I love the colours and light on this shot – the problem, as with a lot of these shots is that the portion is shadow sometimes appears too dark! Good shot overall (I’m no expert!)

I wish I was there – is the first thing that comes to mind :-)
Doesn’t look like this would have been an easy photo to take from an exposure perspective – so I feel that you did a good job with the capture.
The composition leads my eye to the set of boats at the waters edge, where I am thinking that there could have been some really good photo opportunities, so I am hoping that you are going to post some more !

Thanks for comments folks. I think that with some of these shots there is always a compromise.
I wanted the sky to be as close to perfect as possible which kinda meant sacrificing the beach a little.
I could be wrong though.Anyway there are some more of this beach. I’ll dig them out and stick them up later but heres one on the way to the beach
