Was in Barcelona recently for the weekend, didnt take many photos and most of the ones I took were to say the least, misconstrued. Was happy enough with this one.
Am wondering should the heads at the very bottom be cropped, or does it matter.
CROP and B&W now added, with extra saturation as suggested, cheers for that Dee.
I think the heads should go – works better without them. I like the blue tones to the shadows on the pavement under the trees.
Thanks for that Orla, hadn’t noticed the bluetones though on the print version it is darker. I agree it would benefit from some cropping possibly at top and bottom.

Just came back from there myself late on Sunday. Stayed around the corner from where you took this.
Off with the heads imo. If you could keep the leg sof teh tables intact and maybe clone out the remains of the heads it might do the trick?

Barcelona is a superb place and I think this is quite close to the Michael Collins pub which is a cracking wee spot.
I would crop this too and maybe ramp up the saturation a tad
DeeI didn’t spot the boozer Deebo, though there’s a good chance we’d have gone in if we had seen it. I think you are right about the saturation, its a good point.
Bricker…..pickpockets? I guess its one of those things that you don’t think about until it happens to you……for same reason I wouldn’t be too keen on returning to Rome.
Re the pick pockets, I had been warned (partly) through this site. Sure enough, a guy did a u-turn in front of me boarding a metro and proceeded to try to get me to look at a map that he was stuffing in my face. I knew what he was up to and immediately stuffed my hands in my pockets – and collided with his mates hand. As luck would have it, I caught him by the thumb and gave it a sharp jerk and pushed him across the train… giving him and him his mates some choice vocals. They just left the train and sauntered off down the platform.
It wouldn’t stop me though – Id go back in a heartbeat. I’d just make sure all my pocket’s had zips.
I didnt pot that pub either – mind you, theres just so much to see….. PI trip?????

As it happens we took taxis everywhere, which historically I’d have been against, but when you’ve only got a weekend in a city I’ve now decided its a very good idea.
