Some of the must see’s and oft’ photgraphed from Barcelona:

BTW, is there anyway of tagging the HTML for posting pictures at 800 pixels (width=”800″ doesn’t work)? Posting at 500 pixels wide just doesn’t give enough impact.

Hi Brendan,

I hope you enjoyed your time in Barcelona.
Lots to see and photograph there.

I think your description of the scenes you photographed probably
sums them up.
I was in Barcelona a few years back and I took photographs of
these subjects.
I discovered when I came back that practically everybody who
goes to Barcelona takes pictures of these scenes and lots of
them were much better than mine.
A search of Flickr for Barcelona throws up nearly 3 million results.

To catch the eye in company like that a photograph would have to
be something special.

These, I’m sure, are nice to have as a reminder of a visit to a lovely
city but maybe that’s as far as it goes.

I’m probaly being very cruel this morning.
I don’t mean to be.

Thanks John for taking to time to view and respond John. I found it hard to shoot Barcelona in a different way, and I didn’t have much time either. I posted these as seemed to capture the moment of being there well!
