These Two Series Shots were taken in Loude France this summer.

Thanks.
MarkKeymasterWelcome to the site Kevin.
I think that the first image might have been better if we could see more of his face.
Then again it is interesting that he’s looking in the general direction of the menu board, so
my first comment mightn’t stand :) No sure :)Second one is a well captured moment.
Nothing to do with the photos themselves, but the overlay you’ve applied if fairly distracting
to be honest.grif04ParticipantMark wrote:

Do you mean the DeviantArt Watermark? I used a site before that just uploaded photos when you wanted to show something instead of linking them so i had to link these ones which have those watermarks on them – i dont use photobucket or anything like that.
Thanks for the comments though, appreciated.
Punk RockMemberKWBarbsParticipantI really like the second one – especially the expression on the beggars face and the gesture… something we have all seen before on the street and very well captured here. The first does really say anything so I am not sure what to make of it.
grif04Participantthanks lads, il try to remember to try link photos without the watermarks next time
ryan52MemberdavedunneParticipantI have the same opinion on the watermark.
The second one is the better of the two. There appears to be some connection being made between the two subjects.
I don’t like the first one. Nothing to grab my attention. Would be better if there was a face in the shot.
As a two shot series (begging / receiving) I think the first one doesn’t stand up on it’s own without your title. The photo could easily be of a lad waiting for his girlfriend who is already an hour late.
grif04Participantthanks lads again.
thanks dave for the observation, i see what you mean not having any connection – i soppose i thought it was since i knew he was but to you maybe not. He is holding a cap for money though :) maybe from a different angle or some human connection would of helped it better.
Thanks again all :)
