Taken on the laganside embankment, Belfast with the 5D. The same RAW image was procesed twice – once for the sky, and once for the rest of the image, and the 2 images were then blended together with a mask, creating an attempted High Dynamic Range (HDR) image.
I am pleased with the appearance of the resulting image, but composition could have been improved – for instance I dont like the main lamppost covering the PWC building in the background, or where the little circular sign covers it as well.

Not a lot of fans of HDR here though I must admit I love the results that can be obtained. Personally, composition aside, I think you’ve succeeded very well here and produced an incredibly crisp image with vivid colour and plenty of tonal range. I like it. Just go back with a hacksaw and remove the offending lamppost :)
