The fourth is the pick for me. The ranges of colours is perfect and the pose
of the prairie dog is brilliant. All he needs now is an ice cold bottle of Corona.
Can’t say I that Belfast Zoo is the built for photographers. I was there a few months back … (a) the hills don’t make it easy if you’re unfit and you’ve brought in all your gear and (b) the enclosures aren’t the nicest. You can’t get natural looking shots and often you’ve got unappealing angles to shoot from, e.g. you’re looking down into a pit when shooting the bears or the Cheetahs.
The Meerkat looks pretty cute. That old Chimp is full of character. I’d try to tone down the colours … it’s pretty blue.
Cheers guys, I agree on all fronts.
The zoo is terrible to get pics. Most of mine were from up high or tight angles and needing crops and clones to remove wires and fences etc..
We need to get a petiton going. lol
 Deebo, that first one is absolutely priceless  till laughing, the wee fecker looks like he’s on a mission to make the front page of Vogue :D
Super shot. Love the last shot too – the negative space really adds to the shot – great colour well done :)
Deebo No 1 and No4 are great shots,. Just reading today that the annual Zoo photography comp has started, worth having a go. If you want I can PM you some of the details although they should be in most of the local papers.
