All depends on what you need it for – my favourite was the old Fuji Velvia 50…for it’s exaggerated colours and clarity. But it was too much for skin tones.
Yep, what Fintan said re: Velvia for landscape & astia for portraits. I’d try some shots out rather than looking at digital versions on flickr though. You really need to see the tranny under a loupe with a lightbox to really appreciate it fully….and see if it’s what you want.
For landscape there is the choice of velvia 50, 100, 100f and provia 400 from Fuji
Velvia 100F is not as saturated or as contrasty as the other velvias but can be natural
Velvia 50 is the most saturated and contrasty
