Bit of photography fun?

I was hoping to head over tonight and get some pics of the night glow, but it looks like that’s been canceled due to Met Eireann forecasting high winds for tonight. :(

I got there about 7.30am not a PI strap in sight!!
Very foggy but the balloons arrived and started to inflate and by 9am there were two,
an hour later there were another five, the weather cleared a bit but the forecast is for
more rain and wind this evening, the night glow has been cancelled :(Had to leave about 11am but enjoyed the couple of hours there, and it was great to
get up close to them, will put up some shots later (if there is anything worth putting up :oops: )Nice one Sheldon.
I was at the gate at 7:15 but they wouldn’t let me park my car :-( to much fog they said and didn’t know if the balloons would be flying so missed the first few as I went home for a while waiting for the fog to clearGoing to go down tomorrow morning as the weather is supposed to be good in the morning…
Some deadly looking balloons there. Got to walk around inside a big chicken type balloon and take pictures though which was really great…

Worth the drive and the early start, shame the night glow was cancelled though.
Nice shots there Shutterbug. I must have been right beside you at some point. I had to leave but I did not expect that they would fly as I thought the wind was picking up too much.
