Black + White for digital book ?

Anyone recommend a book aimed at black + white processing for digital ?

There was one reviewed in one of the monthly (digital photography i think) mags when I was in a shop last week
but can’t recall its name :? which got a good rating.

Mastering Black and White Digital Photography by Michael Freeman

Very good book, lots of info on post processing colour digital shots via channel mixer etc. Only thing i don’t like is that he uses some 3rd party plug ins but this is kept to a minimum

I have the 2005 version of this book. I think the version below is a more recent version. Well worth a look i think if you can get it online for 25 euro or less

You might consider Black & White Photography in a Digital Age: Creative Camera, Darkroom and Printing Techniques for the Modern Photographer by Tony Worobiec and Ray Spence. I haven’t seen it myself yet and it’s only had two reviews to date – one highly critical of the book the other highly complimentary.

Very good book,
Good techniques to try out
