Bloody Bridge

Would really appreciate some honest feedback on this as I’m a bit undecided about it, mainly because of the sky & the “skyline”. To me, the sky is a bit of a weak spot as there’s very little going on, which is why I have ended up cropping most of it out. I think if there were more clouds it would have helped immensely. But for some reason, I keep coming back to it.

    What do you people think?

You’ve spoiled us recently Steven so you’ve set a very high bar.

I personally don’t think it’s quite at the level of your previous images but I think it is still a very good shot. I don’t necessarily think it needs anything else in the sky but I just feel that the water running out of frame to the right and the boulder to the left are competing in different directions.

    Super light by the looks.

    Thanks Andy.
Yes, I think it is the light that keeps bringing me back to it, it only lasted a few seconds and then it was gone.
Composition wise, yes, I see what you mean about the boulder & waterfall. Perhaps a slightly different viewpoint would have helped. I definately want to re-visit this location again soon.

Another nice shot Steve, but a heavy grad on the sky ‘might’ have helped
