Just back from my holliers and suffering from lack of posting disorder.
Before I bore you all to death with my landscapes, I thouht I’d post this shot
of my son (sadly he didn’t get his eyes from me !!).

Shot with window light on an olympus CW8080 and untouched apart from a bit
of work on the rather boring background.

    C&C welcome.

Very very nice image Kevin and WOW on the eyes. I’d be inclined to sharpen a touch more, but I love pin sharp portraits. I think with youth on his side, his skin can take it. Sharpening would really make his eyes pop that little bit more. Nice exposure, nice colours, nice everything. Well done.

Nice portrait and I would make more sharper as Ciaran says.

There’s a little halo effect (from sharpening?) under his left earlobe… I’d soften that… and I’m sorry, but I’d lose the ‘necklace’ next time!

Maybe also darken the bright blue collar directly under the chin a tad? Just to keep emphasis on the face?

    Thanks for the feedback,

I tend not to photoshop my images too much – crop, unsharp mask & levels – not from amy moral point of view but purely because I’m not particularly good at it !!

I’ill sit down over the next few weeks and practice my PS work.
