Great to see these guys back following us along the woodland trails. I know they are only after me for my nuts though :o

They are one of the cutest little birds, well taken, I have not had any feeders up
since the summer having had a lot of sick finches to contend with, so yesterday I
decided it was time for them to go back up. I am delighted that all the old friends
I have missed all summer are back (it doenst take them long to realise the food is back)

Will post up some of my “armchair shots” later :)

A great shot of a lovely bird.
Were where you, not that far from me and I see nothing.

Great image, hunger knocks the shyness out of these guys alright.

thats a beautiful shot! no complaints from me at all! ( and i usually find some area for improvment in a shot, no matter how good it is!)

How far away were you and what lens were you using?

Cheers, Soda. Down in Carnfunnock. Great place at this time of year for photographing all our wee birds.

It certainly does Paul. You can even get them onto your hand sometimes. Hard to photograph though :?

Thanks, pal. If I remember correctly I was within about ten feet and using my Sony 75-300mm f4.5-5.6 lens.
