Cheers for all the comments. Still pretty much a noob so it’s nice to hear stuff like this. I must be improving :)
Who are the owners John? Do you mean Carton House or is the boat hous owned by someone else?
Great location two really well composed shots, but #2 gets the nod, that bit of frost and the light is excellent!!

Have you changed this? There seems to be a copyright C in the middle of it and it has lost some sharpness.
I added a copyright to it alright as I was led to believe there was unauthorised use of another image on flickr. I didn’t touch the sharpness though only added a copyright layer. Would this have made a difference to the sharpness? I still have the original un-copyrighted image and I can’t really see a difference to be honest.
EDIT: I think you might be mixing it up with the first darker image as that was much much sharper.
To my eye they are both fantastic shots.. but the second one is really great, love the colours.. well done
