Boatstrand Co Waterford sunrise

    A couple from the weekend. Predawn actually, as the dawn itself turned into something of a damp squib.

    And one with, ahem, foreground interest. Photography is thankfully still a purely visual medium :)

    I have to say the foreground interest smells fishy… is dead… I really love coulours here, I think no 2 would be for me… and would be tempted to crop the dead part

    If not crop,how about fillet .

    Thanks Martin. ‘Tis a bit odd for foreground interest I admit, but it kind of appealed to me. Looking at it again, it kind of works as a panoramic. I might have a go a cropping it that way

    Maybe you could have flipped the fish so that it provided a lead in line?

    Joking – great shot, lovely colour and composition (even with the dead fish)

    That thought did occur to me – menacing wide angle shot with the shark eyeballing the lens. The after a couple of seconds, aided by the sense of deadness that my nose was giving, common sense prevailed :)
