BeamCatcherParticipant
Hola folks!
‘me again!
Here are a couple from the “premier” league match back home 16th May. Needless to say my team won! :D
Anyhow… don’t know if you think these are up to scratch as sports shots but I’ll give it a go. All 3 are shot with Canon 40D and my 70-200 baby and taken around 20:00 in the evening.
C&C is always welcome! Cheers! Ivar ;-)
And finally… the winning goal!!!! Yeah!!!!! In your face TIL!!!! ;-)
SodafarlMemberDefinitely sports shots and No 3 is brilliant really well done getting all this in.
Soda
ExpresbroParticipantThat last one is pure class…brilliant timing.
I’m surprised you weren’t up jumping around and screaming instead of being all cool and collected and bagging your own goal (sort of)
Oh and that pitch looks like a billiard table btw :D

8)ossie13ParticipantflynnyParticipantNo. 3 is a cracker, timing is spot on. Very clear shots, what kinda shutter speeds were you using??
nfl-fanParticipantMissed these first time around.
Very nice work I must say. The clarity is outstanding.
Hard to pick a favourite… elements of #2 (the sweat captured) and #3 (the action) that I really like.

johnc24ParticipantHi beamcatcher
Love the shots, they are all superb, 2 and 3 stand out at me especially.
what lens and settings were you using. They are incredibly sharp!!
well done
J
nfl-fanParticipantMight be worth noting peeps that the EXIF data is embedded in these shots and can be viewed with a utility like http://www.opanda.com/en/iexif/.
Example #3
irishshaguaParticipantFirst shot is a bit too busy for me. A tighter crop would help, I think. The other two are good and sharp as well. Thirds a cracker, well captured.
Brian
BeamCatcherParticipantThanking you for feedback. :-)
irishhagua: I can see your point from looking only at he 3 attached, and can only add that it was intentional. :lol
nfl-fan: I have never seen EXIF data pulled like that! VERY cool stuff!!! :-)
I assume it doesn’t work when “save for web” is used, but now that I know a little link would be useful every now and then.
Do you know if there is an easy way to include EXIF data when uploading at PI?
Cheers! Ivar ;-)
