Lovely conversion Graham (lovely range of tones) and the DOF is spot on. I think you can afford to bring the white point in the levels in a smidgen – just to brighten the scene up a tad. It’s a pity you had to crop at the arm – would love to see a landscape crop (if you have it)

    Thanks Ali, valuable comments indeed.
Unfortunately the shot is as taken so a different crop isn’t possible.
The guy was jumping around like a lunatic and really working the crowd.
It was actually very difficult to get a clear shot of him.
This was the best I could manage.
I’ll certainly have a go at your recommendations later. Thanks

Good shot Graham….really interesting looking subject. Lovely DOF and dead sharp on his face.

Thanks guys – i appreicate the comments.

Ali – gave that go last night and it does look better. Left the damn USB key at home so I’ll post it tomorrow.
Tim – very eloquent. I like it.
    Robbie – as always, thanks

Well spotted Graham, and a well-timed capture.
Good character shot. I’d agree with Ali re. bringing
the white point in a bit, just to give it a little more
    oomph. Nice work.

    Rob.
