Borris House, Carlow.

While visiting Borris I came unexpectantly came across this beautiful residence.
I could only just imagine this area in its prime.Impressive building!. Unusual perspective too John.
Bit of banding (the bane of my life sometimes) in the top.
I often run in the problem John. Have yet to find solution for it. Some say to add noise into the blue channel.

Hi Jenny, It’s not empty if I’m not mistaken. There was a wedding reception planned for the day I was there.
The grounds were closed but I just couldn’t resist. I’ll have to go back!
All these homes were probably built during the same era Jenny.
I’ll have to visit Loftus Hall during the Spring also.

I have an image of the viaduct in Borris and away on the hill in the background
you can see this house, must go visit one day!Maybe during the Spring a few members of PI might make a trip to Borris if enough were interested?
It’s not a terribly big town but it has a fine hotel for hot food & liquid refreshments!

Good idea, it’s been a long time since I have been out with any of you, I like the colour
Version, didn’t realise it was leaves in the foreground, thought it was a road! The viaduct
