‘Unseen Boston’, I suppose might be a more apt name.
Just back from Boston. Got some great, fun pics of the people there, but here’s some of my shots that didn’t fall into my usual snapshot/posed category that I tend to overdo! Hope they’re in the right place!
Lemme know what you think!Liam2673Participantthis a great series, really lovely shots, all of them….
I would suspect its in the wrong place, since, travel or not, more people will look at them in the Street or People sections…..I would put them in the Street section maybe…..I’m amazed they haven’t had any comments yet. First and last would be my favourites.
AimeeParticipantMartinOCParticipantAll very nice photos, travel section is an ok place to put them, although they are not so “touristy” it was a trip.
They have a very nice style to them, oozing coolness. 1, 4 and 5 are my favs, and I prefer the simpler borders rather than the first 3.
I used to get the T to Arlington, had a girlfriend living nearby and there was a ben and jerry’s shop there too.Martin
mehfestoParticipantThanks for all the comments.
Aimee, I used my D80 with a cheap 15-55mm lens for all these shots. No filters, as I’d forgotten to pack them!
I used Paintshop Pro for the initial broadwork post processing and then pinick.com for the vignette ffects and boarders.Martin, I agree with you on the frames. I was experimenting with them, having never integrated them into a picture before, and think I may have gotten a little carried away.
It was a great trip. The lads living upstairs from us were all photographers, their father had work published in National Geographic, or so they told me anyway. So I got some great tips off them anyway. But not the use of their equipment (very touchy sunjecy, that!)
jb7ParticipantNot really travel, apart from number 2,
but a great set nonetheless-They (most of them) could be anywhere really…
j
RobMemberVery good set Sean.
I particularly like the second image.
As already mentioned, the frames are
probably unnecessary…Rob.
