Botanics …

Just snapped this over the weekend. Not an award winner by any means, but I just like it.

Anyone been in the Botanic gardens lately? I hadn’t been there in about 15 years! Had great fun feeding the squirrels! We brought a bag of peanuts and they actually come up and take them from your hand! Great place for any of you nature/wildlife photographers out there.

    Take care

Hi there, lovely image & it is a great place for photography. I go there quite a lot, its very peaceful.

Re the squirrels, perhaps they are becoming to tame…..apparently they have taken to jumping into prams.

No Way! That’s a bit nuts! …. (Boom Boom!)
Seriously though, that’s not good! I’ll bear that in mind in future. Thanks Liam.

I haven’t been there for years, good to see it again.

Are the squirrels red or grey?

Mostly Grey. I did see a few that were a mix though.
Be nice to see a few Red ones alright.

    Niallo,

Great shot. Well framed. There seems to be quite a bit of pincushion distortion though. It’s quite visible in the end of the greenhouse to the right. I’ve no idea what lens you used but it could be due to this. It’s probably easy to correct for this in PS (if that’s what you want!)

    Howaya Fergus.
That’s just down to the distortion from the 10-20mm lens. was at the 10 mm end when taken.
Thems the breaks! Lens Correction in PS could probably do a job on it arlight but feckit! … am too busy just now!
    Peace Man.
