Lucky for the rat my phone rang & saved him. He was totally oblivious to the danger.I hope you’re putting this into the Nature Comp in Enniscorthy next month (assuming you’re a member of a club). It’s an unusual capture.

Cheers Alan. I was raging my phone rang as I was in a great position to capture the whole sequence. Typical :evil: I was watching the hawk watching the rat from a tree nearby. No, not in a club yet but must join one soon
fantastic capture 8) I`ll be heading out with my mate and his hawk hoping to get shots like this but you`ve done it with wild animals which makes it even more special :)

daveThis is a super image, dam those mobile phones anyway :D , an opportunity like this doesn’t come round too often. Excellent image and would do well in any competition.

Thanks lads. I was happy I got it, but would’ve been a lot happier if the phone wasn’t with me. I got a few more pics of him / her swooping in & it would’ve been a nice sequence.
