Shot a couple of weeks ago during a mixed week I spent between Arches & Canyonlands in Utah. Seeing the sun was a rarity that week! But thankfully I did get a couple of cool storms pass through the area. To see these parks are one thing, to see them with fresh snow on the ground is another!
Taken with a Hasselblad Xpan2, 30mm lens, Fuji Velvia
Mark I like the use of your 30mm lens to create such a wide vista. I think perhaps if it were possible to inject part of that tree into the sky area, the shot might have even greater impact.
Thanks Tex, I may have another frame with the tree going into the sky…need to have a look! I was all about that sky for me. I’m just waiting on a few other scans that are better than this shot…the sun made an appearance at a later time which transforms the scene completely.
