Thanks very much for the feedback. I think you’re right about a monochrome version being interesting. This shot is a little bit too contrasty cause of too much direct sunlight, but in monochrome I think it’s not so noticable and cause of the bridge leading the eye in like you said I think it still looks pretty dynamic.
I would be inclined to boost the contrast a little more in the B & W version,
I like it though, you could also lose a little bit of the sky, maybe to just the
top of the clouds, nice shot though, well done.
Thanks again for the feedback, I think y’all are right about black and white lacking in contrast, I tried to recover too many of the shadows I guess. As for the sky shutterbug, I see what you mean about there being a lot of emptiness, but sometimes I like to split my pictures down the middle to give my shots a feeling of calm, so I don’t want to fool about with it anymore.
