Hopefully its better this timeshfMemberhey alanhunt, it looks good, bit tight crop for me, and personally would work with saturation to get equal saturation across the image (eyes pops out which probably was your target), apart from that, looks great, and you managed to get perfect focus.
alanhunt99ParticipantThanks for that. Unfortunately I can’t seem to get the image to load into the page correctly.
I’ll take a look at the saturation and try and fix it. I adjusted the eyes a little to add a little shadow detail. I was zoomed in on this so there was no room to play with cropping it. Appreciate the commentsmiki gParticipantshutterbugParticipantalanhunt99ParticipantAllinthemindParticipantLovely expression ans bright eyes. I would have cropped into the forehead some more to keep the eyes higher in the frame…

Anyone know how I can get the image to show up above
TksYou need the middle bit of the bbc code, starting with [img]and it includes the words
farm static (I think) ends with jpg[img]alanhunt99ParticipantvirtusMemberPersonally,
Shot is good, but why enhance baby’s skin when its so smooth anyway, same with eyes.
Now it doesn’t even look natural.
That’s only personal opinion.alanhunt99ParticipantVirtus. I done very little with the skin. Just removed a few blemishes and a dribble.
I wanted to brighten the eyes slightly to draw attention to them.
The depth of field was very shallow in this shot so skin is a little softer from cheeks outwards.
I might pull the eyes back a little and reduce any smoothing where possible
Many thanks for your comments. Always good to get feedbackAnonymousParticipantHi Alan, I would be inclined to agree with Virtus.
The shot looks over done, especially the eyes!alanhunt99ParticipantThanks John. I’ll revisit the eyes again. They aren’t too far off the original. The skin was so soft and the depth of field so shallow that the eyes pop. they don’t look quite so vivid printed. Really appreciate the comments. The more comments, the more I learn.
alanhunt99ParticipantDecided I’d give the photo another go. No skin softening and very little eye manipulation. Hope it looks better.
