    Hi everybody,

I am a newbie on this forum, but I’d say it’s worth to try to get some comments from other photographers out there and I think this is the great way how to do that.

So today I am going to post few pics of this wonderful little lady whose communion pics I got a chance to take.

The main postprocessing was boosting the contrast.

Please let me know what do you think about them.

Thanks and I’ll be back ;)

    Hi Lila,

I like these shots….the child seems to be nice and relaxed around you… and puting her in the tree in her communion dress is not somethign you see often… very nice

I also had a look at your website.. and blog.. and liked everying i saw there…
    where are you based?

    Hi Niall,

Thanks for the reply… I was getting a bit depressed when nobody was commenting:)

Yeah Brigita was really amazing, she was a great model, some shots, she would have told me where she wants the picture to be taken:) It was easy… and trust me I wasn’t pleased too much neither with the idea of the rose bush nor with the tree, but she didn’t want to compromise:)

I am based in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

Nice shots alright very natural looking. The 1st for me is a little too tightly cropped, a little more head and right arm would balance the shot better for me. I dont know if it is my screen or not but when I look at the they seem a little over exposed. You have lost some detail in the white dress. Just my thoughts but as I say nice shots! communions are not easy!

Hi Lila, I took the liberty of changing the exposure, just to compare against originals. I Just copied the layers in PShop and changed the blending mode to “Multiply”, I think it corrects the exposure and does justice to your compositions. Let me know what u think?

    Hi RAS,

thanks for the comments, unfortunately I can’t see the pics you posted. it says they are unavailable.

The tight crop is because I wanted to get rid of the distracting background. And regarding the exposure, I am still trying to find the best way how to deal with it.

But thanks for the comments again:)

These show a good rapport with your subject. I can’t help feeling they’re a little hot and yellow?

    All best
