Broken Camera – HELP!

Just on a mercy mission for a friend who sent this email to me:

“Hi Seoirse, need your advice please?

My Nikon F65, plastic clip mechanism to close back broke last Sunday – will no longer close shut – suspect new door will be required – any idea of price – or just cut my losses ?”…… :cry:

Does anybody know where he could get a replacement or is there a Nikon repair centre here?

What kind of cost would he be looking at?

Any advice appreciated.

this crowd have what he is looking for but it might be a bit expensive as you can buy a whole camera quite cheaply
