Yes, it works for me. A slighter tighter crop also is an option. If the subjects are happy, then job done!

I like it too… particularly the little girl she is great. What was the original image like? The perspective is particularly interesting.

LOL, you are not the first to mistake my nephew for a little girl Andina, he’s a portrait photographers dream, something tells me mammy will be busy in a few years :-)

Great shot and the processing is a great way of making an image really work that would otherwise not have suited for whatever reason. The original image was struggling with DOF/focus issues on the older lad in the front but instead of passing it over you found a way around that works.
