Going through some old shots today. I’m glad this fella was in good humour when i took this one. I was concentrating so hard on exposure i failed to notice the horns
Very tricky to get the correct exposure in that situation. I assume you maybe metered for the sky and used some fill-in on the cow? Or maybe an evaluative reading but bracketed shooting in RAW?
Only niggle about the photo is the way the bulls head kinda merges with the background.
What is that strange looking thing between his back legs?
Good shot Ali. I’d think I’d prefer it though if you cropped the space to the left to take the bull away from centre frame. Nice earrings on the bull by the way!
I love this shot. The exposure seems to be spot on, balancing white with the black and still
maintaining the detail. The clouds are good also, as is the overall toning of the image.
Steve is right about the head but you know thats a minor detail in a very unusual photograph.
Thanks guys for all of the comments. :) I tried to bring out the right side of the cows head by lightening the background.
Looks a wee bit better. I’ve replaced the original
