A couple of weeks ago Martin was complaining about all the crap being posted in GC.
Then today, when most of the regulars are trying their hardest to keep out of GC, Martin goes and posts a load of bull.
Saw this on the news last night.
I’m sure the guy that does the U-turn will get alot of stick in his local.That is pure brilliant!!
Just showed that to the gang in the office here and we’re all in stitches laughing at it.

I have no problem with People using General Chat, i think its good, its when individuals use General Chat and very little else of the PI web site that I have an issue with:-)
The idea of closing it for a month was to try to get these people back posting in other areas of the PI site and remind them that this is not boards.ie but a photography web site.
If they don’t want to post on photography related topics then let them piss off over to boards.ie and talk crap there:-) Cant you tell I am in a great mood today :wink:

I hadn’t seen this before now but it’s something you’d hardly even expect to see in Killinascully. And as for the guy in the shop trying to match up with a bull with a shopping trolley…mad!

When you first suggested that, I thought it was a bit excessive-
now I’ve come around to the idea-This place has become a chatroom with a little photography site attached,
and people have forgotten what it’s supposed to be about-
Some people only post here, and have given up posting pictures or commenting on pictures.So yes, I’d be up for trying some of the recent suggestions-
removing it from the 24hr search function,
and posts in GC not contributing to post count.Definitely.
So I’d be in agreement with you-
