Finally took a few paper negs with the camera, not of great quality I’m afraid but I got an idea of what I need to fix up on the camera and discovered one faulty holder.

On reading up i discovered I will have to compensate with the longer bellows when using more than the focal lenght of the 305mm lens, I found a handy tool at this site that does the math for me,which is nice, because I’m crap at ithttp://www.salzgeber.at/disc/basically include the little disc with the subject and then measure a chart on the view screen. I used it on the pic above but forgot to on a couple of portraits which turned out underexposed, so it seems to work. It’s free to print out btw.

The 90mm, with cap for shutter, gives me coverage but the bellows was nearly completely retracted, I metered for the flower pots here so the vast majority of the pic is blown out, I’ll need some practise on the focusing with this lens,a couple of stops slower than the
305 but it made a big difference on the view screen, I’ll need to add a loup to the shopping list.

    Here’s me light leak

Don’t know what the hell happened on this one, there might be a leaf sharp somewhere if you look hard enough,I could be wrong though :|
Decided to go with the mod 54 for developing, I wont shoot any film until I get it. Apart from the few above,I won’t be shooting any more snap shots with this camera, slow and deliberate seems to be the way to go, enjoyable though.
